Fine Arts Alliance: Artistic creativity interprets musical uniqueness!

Upon the occasion of a portraiture commissioned in connection with the Mecklenberg-Vorpommen Festival, these kindred artists, the cellist Daniel Müller-Schott (www.daniel-mueller-schott.com) and the painter Ekkehard Tischendorf, met in the summer of 2007 for the first time.

Several meetings and conversations followed, and the fascinating result of this joint effort is a powerful and suspenseful painting entitled "The Cellist (DMS)." Daniel Müller-Schott's musical aura resounds from the portrait, capturing not only the visual space of the painting but streaming into the space of the observer. Inspirational force, creativity and expression are the result of this meeting of music and visual arts.
